Great day at "Carne e Vino"


Saturday, the 29th of July we were lucky enough to be joined by DeWine Club Members, Friends and Family for our very first ‘Carne e Vino’ event held in our Winery.

In conjunction with the team from Branxton Quality Meats and Binnorie Dairy we were able to create an inclusive and educational day where guests could mingle with producers and learn all about wine, cheese and meat. Guests had the opportunity to try their hand at blending, sample wine directly from the barrel and we opened our cellar to include some very special wines that have not been seen in a very long time if ever.

The Team at Branxton Quality Meats did a wonderful job providing canapes and charcuterie upon arrival followed by a hands-on ‘beef breakdown’ demonstration and later a wonderful lunch bringing to life the true meaning of ‘carne e vino’. Binnorie Dairy concluded the food selection for the day, with a beautiful selection of locally sourced and made Cheeses. Following lunch, we were treated to the highly energetic and entertaining Newcastle-based Jazz band, Half Nelson.

Thanks to all who attended ‘Carne e Vino’ we had a wonderful day and can’t wait to see everyone again next year!
